pumps for small to medium sized ponds. They
are very economical to run. All models come
with a unique variable ball joint, valve and
tee piece. These are complete sets that include

of the newly branded Oase ‘PRO’
range, Nautilus pumps have been remodelled
as fountain pumps incorporating many innovative
features. The multi-tier nozzle is complete
with telescopic extension and is included
with every pump. The fountain height, when
used with that particular pump, relates to
the model number of the pump. For example
the fountain height of the Nautilus 110 is
110 cm (43 inches) There is a second adjustable
outlet with stepped hose tail up to 1”
which can be used to supply a spouting ornament,
small waterfall or other feature.
The side mounted filter wings are an innovation
unique to the Nautilus range which vastly
increase the filter surface of the pump. The
filter wings can be detached from the pump
and positioned remotely in the shallow margins
of the pond with the help of a special adapter
supplied. Thus the pre-filter can be comfortably
serviced from the edge of the pond - hose
not supplied.
The valve attached to the wings also allows
you to adjust the height of the water display
from the edge of the pond.
The 3 year guarantee can be extended to 5
years by sending off the manufacturer’s
guarantee card.

HOZELOCK Cascade

Cascade range caters for small to medium sized
ponds or pebble pools. The 700, 1000 and 1500
have been upgraded with modified housings
and an improved range of fittings. Pumps which
are designated ‘LV’ are low voltage
versions complete with transformer. All models
are supplied with a tee piece and a selection
of jets. All Cascades have a 3 year
guarantee.

Filter & Waterfall Pumps
Re-introduced
as an entry-level Oase filter pump, Aquamax ‘Start’
pumps are specially designed for filter systems and
waterfalls. Both models can pass up to 8mm particles.
The ingenious universal ball joint hose connector
stops the pump being dragged over by the weight of
the hose. Unlike the ECO range below, Aquamax ‘Start’
pumps have asynchronous motors that can be used with
the variable speed facility of FM Master 3 remote
control system.

Aquamax
pumps have set new standards for effiiency and reliability.
The latest Aquamax ECO range with low wattage servo
motors, offer the same solids handling capability
but with increased pressure. They have a second inlet
for a remote filter (available separately) which can
be used to collect polluted water from a different
part of the pond to eliminate stagnant areas. The
second inlet has four levels of flow regulation and
can be connected to a surface skimmer if required.
The large strainer housing can handle solids of up
to 10mm. The 12000 and 16000 models have a manually
selectable ‘seasonal flow control’ that
varies the output of the pump according to water temperature
- the figures in the chart below are at maximum performance.
All models are protected against dry running by an
automatic cut-out switch. There are five models in
the range from 881 to 3,524 gph. Hose is not included
but can be purchased separately.

The
Profimax is the ‘beast’ of the Oase filter
and waterfall pump range. These pumps are very robust,
stable and solidly constructed, weighing over 15Kg.
They can be left in the pond over winter even in freezing
conditions. The high pressure output combined with
the ability to devour coarse debris particles up to
8mm in size, make the Profimax the professionals choice.
The lifting handle is aligned with the pumps centre
of gravity for easy handling and the 2” threaded
outlets enable adaption to a range of fittings and
hose sizes - although peak performance will only be
achieved using a 2” (50mm) hose.
